I was introduced to kayaking a few years ago by some friends. We had two kayaks between the three of us and we were happy taking turns. However it was a bit of a problem when we all decided to take to the water at the same time. So after a while I realized that I would need my own kayak if we all wanted to enjoy an outing together. Since I live in an apartment, however, I knew that an inflatable kayak was the best choice for me.

1. Storage, set up and moving: Storage is easy since this inflatable kayak fits easily in a closet. Set up is also easy once you practice a few times. Carrying the SE370 inflatable kayak, on the other hand, is definitely more of a challenge. The carry bag only has one strap which will dig into your shoulder for longer treks to the water. I have gotten into the habit of inflating the kayak at the car instead of carrying it in the bag, but this can get cumbersome, and I really wish the carry bag had two straps for easier handling.

2. On the water: the Sea Eagle 370 pro package has great stability. It resisted my every effort to tip it, and the even more energetic efforts of my friends. As far as performance goes, you will not be getting anywhere very fast, nor in a straight line. Sitting in the middle of the boat will help somewhat, but you will still zigzag.  However, from what I have heard, this is a common feature with inflatable kayaks. The Sea Eagle 370 is a good choice for the price if you are not concerned with speed.

3. Construction: It is solid and durable. I have had it for some time now, and there is not so much as a scratch on it.

Overall, the Sea Eagle 370 is a durable, practical and cost-effective inflatable kayak and I can highly recommend it.
