You’ve probably heard about GPS Systems.  You may even have one in your car or a portable GPS device that you take with you when you are hiking or camping.  You might be surprised to learn that with the addition of a very simple software application that can be downloaded and installed on your cell phone, your cell phone can be easily turned into a GPS locating device.

Do you think that your boyfriend is stepping out on you?  If you do, you might want to install a cell phone locator app onto his phone.  After you do that, you will be able to check his location from either your phone or a computer that is connected to the Internet.  In order for you to be able to do this, his phone must be the kind that allows you to download and install software onto it.

Your choices of cell phone locator apps are Google Latitude, MobiWee, Glympse, Find My iPhone, and Sprint PCS Family Locator.  All of them but the Sprint Family Locater app and the iPhone app are free do download and install.  Sprint charges $5.00 for a month’s use but you don’t have to download or install any special software onto the cell phone if you go with this route.  Find My iPhone charges $99 a year for their MobileMe service which is required to be able to use the iPhone cell phone tracker app.

After you have a cell phone locator set up on your boyfriend’s phone, you can begin tracking his location with either your cell phone or a computer that has an Internet connection.  All you have to do is log into the cell phone tracking website with your password and you will be able to see their location on a map on the computer screen.  It’ as simple at that.
